Job summary

Good Oaks Home Care is seeking a Team Leader for our Maidenhead and Windsor branch, covering Maidenhead, Windsor, Slough, Taplow, Eton and surrounding areas.

Most of your week is out on the road with a regular caseload of your own, while the rest is the team leader side: supporting newer carers, covering the office phones, helping with training, and taking your turn on the on-call rota. We are a young branch and you’ll help build the service.

Qualifications

• Experience in domiciliary care, and ready to step up.
• Availability to start between 7am and 8am, and to work every other weekend.
• We will support you to obtain a Level 3 Diploma if you don't already have it.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• The right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
• Willingness to complete an Enhanced Adult DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care calls across the Maidenhead, Windsor and Slough patch, with a regular caseload of your own.
• Cover gaps, sickness and short-notice changes.
• Support and buddy newer carers out in the field.
• Cover the office phones when the Registered Manager or Director is out.
• Help with inductions, shadow shifts and training.
• Take your turn on the on-call rota.
• Keep an eye on care plans and flag when something has changed.
