Job summary

Helping Hands in Esher is seeking a Field Care Supervisor (Care and Training Practitioner) to lead and mentor the care team from onboarding through ongoing quality checks. You’ll visit customers to review care plans, support on-call duties, and help ensure regulations are followed.

This role blends hands-on coaching with branch leadership, offering growth within a nationwide, award-winning care provider and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant and a desire to take the next step in your career.
• A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy, insured vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, encouraging approach to working with others.
• A keen eye for detail and confidence in maintaining compliance and quality standards.
• A people-first mindset - calm, kind and ready to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident, capable and ready to deliver extraordinary care.
• Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across your care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
