Agincare is hiring a Care Team Leader in Frome (BA11 4DP) on a permanent, full-time basis. Salary starts at £14.36 per hour with a two-week rolling rota that includes weekends. The role involves leadership within a care home setting and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• At least two years' experience in a social care environment.

Responsibilities

• Companionship: provide support, communication and engagement with residents.
• Personal care: assist with wash, bath or shower, dressing and oral care.
• Mobility: help residents live as independently as possible.
• Social activities: plan and join trips and activities within the home.
• Medication: support and oversee medication administration and proper records.
• Document management: keep all documentation accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaboration: work with health & social care professionals.
• Management: line management of care and senior care staff when necessary.

What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK


• At least two years' experience working in a social care environment


• Qualified to at least QCF level 2


• This position is on a two week rolling rota, to include working alternate weekends.


• Week one will be the following days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.


• Week two will be the following days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

A day in the life of a Care Team Leader

• Companionship: Provide support, communication and engagement with our residents.


• Personal care: Support with a wash, bath or shower, dressing and oral care.


• Mobility: Ensure that the residents can live as independently as possible.


• Social Activities: In collaboration with the Activities Coordinator and care home management, plan and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.


• Medication: Support and oversee medication administration, including the upkeep of appropriate documentation.


• Document management: Ensure all documentation relevant to those who use our service is accurate and up-to-date at all times.


• Collaboration: Offer support and access to, as well as working collaboratively with other health & social care professionals.


• Management: Hold line manager responsibilities to care and senior care assistants, and in the absence of the Deputy and Registered Manager, hold responsibility for the home.
