Job summary

Home Instead Ivybridge is seeking a full-time Scheduler to join our Ivybridge office. You will manage client schedules and coordinate with the care team to ensure consistent care and high-quality service.

Working closely with the Registered Care Manager, you’ll balance client needs with carer availability, handle on-call duties, and contribute to our ethos of outstanding care in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling within a home care or similar environment.
• Care sector background such as caregiver, senior carer or team leader is advantageous.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Must be highly resilient with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage client schedules, accounting for travel time, holidays and training.
• Respond promptly to changes and liaise with clients and team members.
• Match carers to new clients and ensure consistent carers and times where possible.
• Maintain accurate client and carer records in the scheduling system and assist with billing checks.
