Job summary

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced administrator to join the busy Single Point of Contact team in Bexley. You will take and process referrals by phone and email, identify urgent needs, and respond promptly with accurate information while maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires proficient Microsoft Office skills or willingness to train, with RiO or Liquid Logic experience advantageous. A probationary period applies, with full training provided in the SPC environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of RiO or Liquid Logic will be an advantage, but full training will be available to the successful candidate.
• Ideally you will be proficient in Microsoft computer packages.
• You will need to be able to identify urgent needs and respond to them accordingly.

Responsibilities

• To be the first point of contact for service users or carers, establishing the nature of the communication.
• To answer all incoming calls and direct them to appropriate clinicians/practitioners.
• To input new referrals onto SPC data systems (RiO and Liquid Logic).
• To provide information to callers in response to enquiries using electronic/web directories.
• To manage incoming and outgoing post and monitor inboxes, responding professionally.
• To develop and maintain knowledge of services and local community information.
• The SPC is a 7 day a week, 365 days a year service; navigators work a shift pattern to cover.
