Job summary

Larwood Health Partnership is seeking Care Navigators/Clinical Administrators to join our GP Practice on a permanent basis. The role involves providing a reception service for patients and visitors, handling calls and appointments, and guiding patients to the appropriate clinician or service using established protocols.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years in a customer service role in a busy office, strong communication skills, and familiarity with IT systems such as SystmOne.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a customer service-based role and/or working as part of a team within a very busy and pressurised office environment.
• Experience of working within General Practice is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills (written, oral, listening).

Responsibilities

• Provide a reception service for patients and visitors including appointment bookings, prescription requests and other queries.
• Receive and route incoming telephone calls ensuring patients are dealt with by the right person.
• Navigate patients to the correct clinician or service using Practice protocols.
• Record relevant information in patient records and on the appointment system.
• Assist with emergencies following protocols (e.g., chest pain protocol).
• Undertake general admin tasks and ensure documents are processed per current protocols.
