A local government authority in Scotland is seeking an individual to provide comprehensive community care services. The role involves crisis intervention as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring close collaboration with individuals, families, and carers. Ideal candidates should have relevant qualifications in social work, occupational therapy, or nursing, along with strong communication and assessment skills. This position is permanent and full-time, offering opportunities for flexible working arrangements.
To provide a comprehensive, intensive community care service to individuals, their families and carers as part of an integrated, multi-disciplinary team, actively promoting their involvement in, and an understanding of, any assessment process. This service includes crisis / urgent, short-term, or planned longer-term intervention with individuals who may also have complex health and social care needs.

Please note that with effect from 1 April 2023 , where a role requires PVG membership, candidates will be required to meet the cost of the PVG membership . This applies only to roles with a full time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above . (Teaching roles and jobs at Grade 11 and above (currently £31,505 per annum / £ 17.31 per hour)
The Council will pay for the PVG membership cost initially, either £18 for existing PVG scheme members, or £59 for non-members , and this cost will be deducted from an employee’s first FULL month’s salary payment.
