Purpose of the role -

Supporting the pathway with our Children’s Care Manager to provide exceptional Adult Home care & respite services, providing domiciliary care to people living in their own homes.

The CQC Registered Manager will lead a flexible and integrated care service responding to the needs and wishes of the people we care for. Have strong communication skills, creating lasting relationships with families and caregivers.

They will work collaboratively with the Director of Care & Education to keep up to date with our modern care approach. Be forward-thinking and enjoy developing a high-performing team to grow our management structure.

The RM will need to show a high level of understanding of the CQC legislation, be willing to learn & undertake a CQC RM interview alongside the NI.

Key responsibilities -

Ensuring high-quality personalised care & support is consistently provided in line with the CQC standards of care & values for the Easton care & Education team.

Understanding the organisations requirments & meeting the CQC’s registration work in practice, along with support from the care team at Easton Care and Education.

Overarching responsibility to maintain rota for respite and home care for the Adult sector, maintaining clear communication to all team members for shift patterns, and providing a good work-life balance.

Work alongside the Operations Manager to ensure processes and systems are in place to support high-level care.

Be comfortable using Bright HR, Nourish & Sign in reporting systems or show the ability to swiftly learn whilst being able to teach teams.

Enthusiastically enjoy recruitment, finding the right person for the right position within the organisation and outreaching to grow our community.

Working closely within private care & social care, building relationships with commissioners & people within a circle of care.

Achieve high levels of safeguarding whilst building relationships with appropriate external support networks.

Ensure a positive, kind, welcoming work culture where teams can raise ideas towards continuous improvements with the support we offer.

Develop and maintain compassionate, concise care plans that enrich people’s lives and respect their core values and beliefs.

High-quality risk assessment skills across all aspects of the company, supporting the Director of Care & Education & Care & Education Manager, ensuring risks are professionally & robustly managed/tracked/reviewed.

Support integrated care budget planning with timely, accurate records to the Operation Manager.

Criteria -

  • Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 5 or equivalent (Essential)
  • Experience working with Safeguarding (Essential)
  • Excellent understanding of person-centred care with working examples (Essential)
  • Excellent understanding of the CQC (Essential)
  • Experience of working with Adults of all ages & meeting care needs (Essential)
  • Experience working as a CQC Registered Manager or the next direct report to a CQC Registered Manager (Essential)
  • Able to pass a ‘fit & proper person’ CQC screening (Essential)
  • Computer/tech skills, Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint (Desirable)
  • Able to manage conflict with the ability to prioritise & delegate (Essential)
  • Clean driving licence, with access to a car (Essential)
