Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare Group is seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to design, plan and deliver comprehensive training across residential and nursing homes in the North West, with potential homecare branches. The role requires travel between sites and contributing to induction and supervisions to uphold training standards.

Qualifications

• L3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent recognised teaching/training qualification) is essential.
• Up-to-date knowledge and experience in delivering safeguarding, moving and assisting, first aid and basic life support is essential.
• NUCO and RoSPA qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and deliver a wide range of training courses, including safeguarding, moving and assisting, first aid, dementia, and the Mental Capacity Act.
• Deliver high-quality training to groups of Kingsley Healthcare employees across multiple sites.
• Conduct learner assessments to ensure outcomes meet Skills for Care and CQC standards.
• Support induction training for new homes and employees, ensuring consistent delivery.
• Facilitate and lead Champion programmes, supporting home champions to achieve required standards.
• Maintain accurate training records and adapt to varying operational needs.
• Provide guidance and troubleshooting support on the e-learning system.
• Keep training content and methods current and aligned with best practices and Kingsley’s ethos.
