Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare is seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to design, plan, and deliver comprehensive training across our residential and nursing homes, and potentially homecare branches. The role focuses on high-quality, person-centred care training and requires travel between sites, predominantly in the North West.

You will cover mandatory courses, support induction, and develop home-based champions while ensuring safeguarding and regulatory standards are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering care-related training.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong regulatory knowledge (Skills for Care, CQC).
• Compassionate and able to engage learners.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and deliver a wide range of training programmes across our homes (and potentially homecare branches).
• Coordinate learning and development across sites, predominantly in the North West, with travel to other areas as required.
• Cover mandatory training such as Safeguarding, Moving and Assisting, First Aid, and Basic Life Support; and advanced topics as needed.
• Support induction training for new services and employees.
• Develop home-based champions and carry out supervisions to maintain training standards.
• Maintain accurate training records and adapt to changing operational needs.
• Provide guidance on the e-learning system and troubleshoot issues.
• Keep training content aligned with best practices and Kingsley’s ethos.
