Guild Care in Worthing, West Sussex, is seeking a Practice Development Facilitator to lead induction and mandatory training, ensuring Care Certificate standards are met across Haviland House. You’ll coach staff, embed a learning culture, and work with managers to implement regulatory changes while maintaining accurate training records.

In this role you will spend a substantial portion of time in direct care support, shape staff development plans, and contribute to person-centred care through

Competenze

• Experience delivering training within a care or health setting.
• Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Care Certificate standards.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the care sector with knowledge of CQC framework.

Mansioni

• Delivering induction and mandatory training, ensuring staff achieve Care Certificate standards
• Observing, assessing, and coaching staff to promote best practice in care delivery
• Designing and delivering tailored learning opportunities using classroom, eLearning, and on‑the‑job methods
• Working closely with managers to integrate regulatory changes and maintain high standards
• Keeping accurate, up‑to‑date training records and evaluating training effectiveness
• Spending 40% of your time in direct care, supporting staff through hands‑on guidance
