Job summary

Crystal Care Collection Limited in Bourne invites applications for a Care Manager to support the General Manager in the day‑to‑day running of Millstone Mews, with an NVQ Level 5 or current progression toward it. This role offers a chance to lead in a family‑oriented home and to make a meaningful difference for residents and staff.

You will contribute to strategy, ensure compliance, coach the team, and help maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or currently working towards one.
• Dynamic and passionate leader with ability to inspire others.
• Support General Manager and ensure alignment with company strategy and goals.

Responsibilities

• Act as person in charge of the Home in the absence of the General Manager.
• Participate in the on-call rota for out of hours management.
• Oversee residents' needs and inform relevant agencies and relatives where needed.
• Monitor and manage PCS compliance.
• Coach and support for team members to develop care planning skills.
• Oversee ordering and booking of all medication.
• Assist with interviews, investigations and disciplinary issues.
• Assist with rota management and staffing ensuring appropriate skill mix of staff on shift using the Coolcare rota.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and Health and Safety across the home.
