Job summary

Crystal Care Collection Limited in Bourne announces a role as Unit Manager at Millstone Mews. You will lead care teams, coach staff, and ensure residents receive high-quality, respectful care in a luxury home environment.

You will act as person in charge outside office hours and collaborate with the General Manager to uphold statutory standards, implement care plans, and monitor medication administration. We offer induction, DBS, and supportive team structure.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Care is required.
• Experience in care home management preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to coordinate care plans and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Act as the person in charge of the home outside of office hours and ensure standards are maintained.
• Provide high-quality personal care following individual care plans and act as a key worker for residents.
• Comply with statutory requirements including Health & Safety and infection control.
• Carry out move-in assessments and discuss suitability with the General Manager/Care Manager.
• Contribute to formulation of individual care plans for residents.
• Order and administer medications as prescribed and maintain records.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' information and ensure staff respect this.
• Perform general care assistant duties as required throughout the home.
• Complete quality audits and supervise staff as directed.
• Be on-call for emergencies on a rota basis as Deputy Manager.
