Job summary

Crystal Care Collection Limited is seeking a dynamic Care Manager for Tudor House, Thornbury, to support the General Manager in all day-to-day operations. This fixed-term contract for 6 months requires an NVQ Level 5 or current progression toward it and a commitment to high standards of resident care.

You will oversee day-to-day care home operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a care team to deliver person-centred care in a family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and supporting care home teams to deliver high-quality resident care.
• Strong people management and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication with staff, residents, families, and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Act as person in charge of the Home in the absence of the General Manager.
• Participate in the on-call rota for out-of-hours management.
• Monitor residents' needs and liaise with professionals and relatives as required.
• Ensure PCS compliance and oversee care planning quality.
• Support interviews, investigations and disciplinary processes as needed.
• Assist with rota planning and staffing to maintain appropriate skill mix on shift.
