St Philip's Care is seeking a proactive Maintenance Operative for Catalina House Care Centre in Scotland. You will perform day-to-day maintenance, keep the property decorative, and ensure grounds are well-presented to uphold a smart appearance. You will also supervise external contractors and monitor energy use to control costs.

The role emphasizes safe, efficient operation, accurate records, and readiness to respond to emergencies, supporting the home’s high standards of care.

Qualifications

• A flexible approach to work.
• Ability to prioritise workload.
• High standard of DIY including internal and external decoration.
• Ability to communicate effectively with outside agencies.
• An understanding of heating systems.
• A basic understanding of electrical appliances.
• An ability to maintain accurate inspection records.

Responsabilités

• Carry out general maintenance as required throughout the home.
• Ensure the home is in good decorative order at all times.
• Keep external areas and grounds tidy and well maintained to ensure a smart appearance.
