Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Head of Maintenance for a care home. You will lead a small team, ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff, and manage day-to-day maintenance across buildings and grounds.

You’ll coordinate with contractors and support budget planning while reporting to the General Manager. The role requires hands-on maintenance skills, a reliable, flexible approach to hours, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience of property maintenance.
• At least one trade skill.
• Reliable and flexible with working hours.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team and supervise maintenance tasks within the care home.
• Liaise with the General Manager on annual budget planning.
• Coordinate with contractors for specialised work and external jobs.
