Job summary

Barchester Healthcare Homes Limited is recruiting a Head of Maintenance to oversee the upkeep of a care home, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment where residents feel at home.

You'll lead a maintenance team, handle planned and reactive works, liaise with contractors, and assist the General Manager with annual budget planning. A full UK driving licence and GCSEs in Maths and English are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with building maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to plan and execute a range of maintenance tasks safely.
• Reliable and flexible with working hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team and oversee daily tasks.
• Liaise with contractors for out-of-scope work.
• Support annual budget planning with the General Manager.
