Job summary

Harbour Healthcare is seeking a Care Home Administrator for its Halifax site. You will manage payroll, maintain compliance files, coordinate recruitment and training, and provide back-office support to ensure smooth operation of the home.

The role runs 9am–5pm, is full-time, and based in Halifax. You will interact with residents, families and external partners while upholding Harbour Healthcare standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in care home administration or similar setting.
• Ability to handle payroll and compliance tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll details for all employees using the Cold Harbour system.
• Maintain and update care worker and service user files for compliance.
• Manage recruitment screening and training coordination.
• Answer calls and liaise with clients, relatives and stakeholders.
• Take minutes of meetings and provide general admin support.
