Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Operative to perform a range of maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning and housekeeping duties. You will have technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and uphold safeguarding practices while supporting residents and colleagues.

The role is 24 hours over 3 days and offers an hourly wage in the £13.55–£13.90 range, with benefits such as a pension, DBS/PVG checks, free uniform and more.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning and housekeeping.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Some IT skills would be advantageous.
• Safeguarding training is required and ongoing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out audits and ensure records are up to date.
• Repair tasks such as replacing taps or mixer valves, fitting extractor fans, repairing timber and wallpaper.
• Maintain a proactive, kind and considerate approach to residents and colleagues.
