Job summary

HC-One Ltd. are seeking a Maintenance Operative for a full-time role working 36 hours per week in Nottingham. You will support maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning and housekeeping with knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and IT skills, while upholding safeguarding and quality records.

You'll join a team dedicated to maintaining safe, comfortable living environments for residents and be part of ongoing learning and development within a supportive HC-One family.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in building, DIY, cleaning and housekeeping.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to use IT tools.
• Safeguarding training completed or willingness to undertake.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance tasks such as replacing taps or mixer valves, fixing extractor fans, repairing timber and wallpapering with care.
• Conduct proactive inspections and audits to ensure residents live in well maintained spaces.
• Keep accurate records of work carried out and maintenance logs.
• Recognise safeguarding concerns and report them, including escalation when action is not taken.
