Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative to keep our residents’ environments proactively maintained. You will handle repairs, audits, and daily upkeep across occupied and communal areas, applying practical skills in plumbing, carpentry, and basic IT where needed.

The role requires solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning and housekeeping, plus knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. We value kindness and clear communication with residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, building and DIY.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• IT literacy and comfort with basic tech.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and routine maintenance across facilities.
• Audit records and maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Repair taps, valves, extractor fans, windows and wall finishes as needed.
