Job summary

Bluebird Care North Hampshire & West Berkshire is seeking a Care Coordinator/Supervisor to help our team grow and deliver outstanding domiciliary care. You will liaise with the Lead Coordinator and Registered Manager to ensure adequate staffing and to arrange cover for sickness or holidays.

This role requires at least 2 years of domiciliary care experience, a full UK driving licence, strong IT skills, and a commitment to high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in domiciliary care.
  • An NVQ3 in health and social care is preferred.
  • Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle.
  • Excellent IT skills and a commitment to high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the Lead Coordinator and/or Registered Manager to ensure the right number of carers are recruited with the right skills mix.
  • Arrange cover for sickness, absenteeism or holidays.
  • Support enrolment/recruitment of new employees.
  • Allocate and process new customer referrals promptly and effectively.
  • Process changes to customers' required care and support needs.
  • Ensure adequate cover to deliver care on time and per care plans.
  • Carry out general office duties and prepare reports.
  • partake in out-of-hours on-call rota after training and assessment.

  • Liaise with the Lead Coordinator and/or Registered Manager to ensure the right number of care professionals, with the right skills mixes, are recruited to meet the needs of the business. Arrange cover for Care professional sickness, absenteeism or holidays.
  • Support in the enrolment/recruitment of new employees
  • Allocate and process new customer referrals for care and support promptly and effectively.
  • Process changes to customers' required care and support needs.
  • Ensure there is sufficient cover to deliver care and support to all customers on time and in alignment with their personal care plans.
  • Carry out general office duties. Prepare reports as required by the Registered Manager.
  • Take part in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota. This will only be required after the post holder has received full training and has been assessed as competent to provide appropriate guidance and advice in emergency situations.
    You must be caring and compassionate towards people in need of care and support those who require these services
  • A full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Provide excellent customer service with a smile, being supportive and calm, you'll be highly organised and enjoy communicating with your colleagues and customers.
  • You must have at least 2 years of experience working in domiciliary care an NVQ3 in health and social care is preferred
  • Show initiative and complete agreed actions, working as part of our team to achieve business outcomes together
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a drive to continually learn and improve.
  • Must hold a permanent, unrestricted Right to Work in the UK
