Job summary

Bluebird Care Redbridge is seeking a Care Coordinator to join our team. You will create and maintain efficient rotas, ensure timely delivery of care, and support our Care Experts with scheduling and clear communication in clients' own homes.

We value excellent organisational and communication skills, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a team-focused attitude. Driving with access to your own car is preferred, and DBS checks and references will be conducted in line with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain efficient rotas, ensuring care is delivered on time and in accordance with customer care plans.
• Work with the Registered Manager to ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill mix.
• Arrange cover for staff holidays and absences.
• Process new customer referrals and changes to care needs promptly.
• Match Care Experts to customers based on skills, experience, availability and preferences.
• Be an active participant in on-call, following training and competency sign-off.
• Maintain accurate digital and written records, including travel and incident reporting.
• Ensure confidentiality and adherence to company policies at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to deliver exceptional homecare services.
