Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a Care Coordinator in Birmingham to join a branch-focused team. You’ll work with the Branch Care Manager to ensure visits are well-planned, carers are supported, and customers receive reliable, compassionate care.

You will allocate carers, perform timely supervisions, assist recruitment, and review care plans to reflect evolving needs, wellbeing and preferences. The role emphasizes exceptional service and local community impact.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support your Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across your local area.
• Allocate carers effectively so customers receive consistent, high-quality support.
• Complete supervisions and observations on time, helping carers grow and maintain great practice.
• Help recruit and onboard new carers, strengthening the branch’s capacity and community impact.
• Review and update care plans so they reflect each customer’s needs, preferences and wellbeing.
• Look for opportunities to grow the branch, supporting local engagement and commercial activity.
• Champion brilliant customer service, ensuring every interaction feels considered and kind.
