Job summary

Home Instead Market Harborough is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to orchestrate client schedules around care plans and work closely with Care Professionals.

You will match carers to new clients, support consultations and reviews, maintain the scheduling system, and participate in on-call duties. The role requires IT skills, strong organisation and communication, and a UK driving licence with access to a car.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling for home care or similar logistics.
• Good IT skills with MS Office or Google Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation under pressure.
• Team player with ability to build rapport quickly.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Logical, analytical thinker able to work on own initiative.
• L2 or working towards Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Understand and build effective schedules around clients and Care Professionals.
• Support care consultations, service reviews and client support plans.
• Be responsive to schedule changes and liaise with team members.
• Match Care Professionals to new clients and arrange introductions.
• Conduct staff supervisions and client QA's.
• Ensure client schedules are matched to needs with same carer where possible.
• Develop relationships with clients and Care Professionals.
• Add and maintain client and Care Professional information in the scheduling system.
• Support and mentor Care Professionals.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.
• Carry out other duties for successful operation and ensure equality policies are followed.
