Job summary

Essex Cares (ECL) invites applications for a permanent Care Assistant in Worthing, covering Worthing and surrounding areas. You will support customers to regain independence, assist with daily living tasks, personal care, mobility, meals, and medication, with travel between clients using your own vehicle.

Full training is provided; a driving licence with business insurance is preferred. You will join a service offering guaranteed weekly hours, paid induction, and a supportive pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Care experience sought, though full training is given regardless of background.
• Full driving licence is required; access to your own car with business insurance is preferred.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.
• Right to work in the UK is required.

This is a permanent Care Assistant post in the community reablement service run by Essex Cares (ECL) in Worthing, West Sussex. The work centres on helping customers relearn daily living skills at home and in the community. Staff drive their own vehicle between customers across Worthing and the surrounding area, on early or late shifts. Applicants needing visa sponsorship cannot apply directly, so the right to work in the UK is required.
