Essex Cares is recruiting a Care Assistant to support people in their own homes across the community. You will help clients relearn daily skills such as personal care, mobility and meal preparation, enabling them to regain independence.

Travel between visits is required and early or late shifts including alternate weekends are expected. No prior care experience is required; full UK rights to work, a valid driving licence, and a vehicle with insurance are essential, along with an Enhanced DBS

Care Assistant in the reablement service at Essex Cares, supporting people in their own homes across the community. The work centres on helping clients relearn everyday skills such as personal care, mobility and preparing meals so they can regain their independence. Contracts run from 16 to 36 hours on early and late shifts, with every contract including alternate weekends, and a full driving licence and own car are needed for travel between visits. Candidates who need visa sponsorship cannot apply directly and must go through a third-party provider.
