South Coast Nursing Homes is seeking a Care Assistant for Night shifts at White Lodge Residential Home in East Preston. The role is 36 hours per week, alternating weekly between Week 1 and Week 2, with nights from 8pm to 8am. Sponsorship at Tier 2 is not available at this time.

Key duties include providing high quality personal care, promoting independence, inputting residents’ information, serving meals, and building relationships with residents and their relatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in Healthcare preferred but full training provided.

We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team on Nights at White Lodge Residential Home in East Preston.

Hours: 36 hrs per week, alternating weekly between Week 1 and Week 2.

Week 1: Sunday - 8pm-8am

Week 2: Saturday and Sunday - 8pm-8am

We are unable to provide Tier 2 sponsorship at this time.

As a Care Assistant you will be:

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
• Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

More about you:

• Ideally, you’ll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role;
