Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes in Seaford seeks two Care Assistants for Abundant Grace, our luxury Dementia Nursing Home. Roles are full-time and part-time, working daytime shifts (Days) with a 36-hour week that includes every other weekend.

You will provide high-quality personal care, assist with feeding, enable social interaction, and document residents’ personalised care on our system. Training is provided and you will be supported to grow with the team.

We are looking for two Care Assistants (full-time and part-time) to join our team on Days at Abundant Grace, our luxurious Dementia Nursing Home, in Seaford.

Hours: Full-time position of 36hrs per week this will include every other weekend.

As a Care Assistant You Will Be

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
• Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

More About You

• Ideally, you’ll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role;
