Job summary

Agincare in Weymouth is seeking a Home Care Assistant to support clients at home with daily activities, personal care, meals, and companionship. You’ll receive fully funded professional training and qualifications up to QCF level 5, with 48 hours guaranteed per week and mileage paid at 32p per mile.

We offer a competitive salary of £32,500 per year, a company pension, and on demand pay. A full UK driving licence and access to your own car are required; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily routines, household tasks and personal care.
• Assist with shopping, meal preparation and making cups of tea.
• Provide companionship and a listening ear to brighten their day.
• Help with medication as needed.

The Role of a Home Carer:

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication

About you:

Above all, we’re looking for someone kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others.You don’t need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.

You’ll bring:

• A warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
