Job summary

Agincare Group is seeking a friendly Home Care Assistant to join our Totton/Southampton team and support clients in their own homes with dignity and care.

You’ll help with daily routines, personal care, shopping, meal preparation, and companionship. A driving licence and a right to work in the UK are essential; no sponsorship. We offer funded training, flexible hours, mileage, pension, and on-demand pay to support your development and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; right attitude and caring nature teachable.
• 12 months remaining on right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily routines, including household tasks and personal care.
• Help with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea.
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation.
• Help with medication.

The Role of a Home Carer:

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care

About you:

You’ll bring:

• A warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence
