Job summary

Agincare in Weymouth is hiring a Home Carer to support clients in their own homes, providing daily assistance and companionship. You’ll help with personal care, meals, and light housework, building trusting relationships with clients and families.

We value kindness and a caring nature. A driving licence and UK work rights are preferred; full training is provided and there are flexible work options to fit around you.

Qualifications

• Strong people skills and ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Compassionate, patient and willing to learn in care settings.
• Right to work in the UK (12 months remaining) and driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines and personal care for clients.
• Assist with shopping, meals and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
• Assist with medications as required.

The Role of a Home Carer:

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication

About you:

Above all, we’re looking for someone kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others. You don’t need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.

You’ll bring:

• A warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own car (Preferred).
