South Coast Nursing Homes Ltd is seeking a Care Assistant for Days shifts at The Poets, our flagship nursing home in Worthing, West Sussex. Hours: 27hrs/week or 48hrs/week.

You will deliver high-quality personal care and engage residents in social activities, while coordinating with families to support individual care plans. The role includes inputting resident interactions in our system, maintaining dignity and promoting independence, and joining a team committed to excellence and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Healthcare sector preferred; training provided.
• Kind and caring with a positive approach.

Responsibilities

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents.
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing support where necessary.
• Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system.
• Serving food and drinks to residents and promoting social dining.
• Developing relationships with relatives to understand their needs and care.
