Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes in Bolney (Nr Haywards Heath) is seeking a Care Assistant to join our team on days. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week at Eastridge Manor, with shifts that include weekends.

You will deliver high-quality personal care, promote residents’ independence, input electronic notes, serve meals, and build strong relationships with families. Training is provided and a supportive team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents.
• Promote independence and enablement, offering support as needed.
• Record residents’ personalised interactions electronically.
• Serve food and drinks and promote social dining experiences.
• Develop relationships with relatives to understand needs and care preferences.
• Provide social stimulation to residents.
