Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes Ltd is seeking a Care Assistant for Days shifts at The Poets, our flagship nursing home in Worthing, West Sussex. Hours: 27hrs/week or 48hrs/week.

You will deliver high-quality personal care and engage residents in social activities, while coordinating with families to support individual care plans. The role includes inputting resident interactions in our system, maintaining dignity and promoting independence, and joining a team committed to excellence and training.

• Experience in the Healthcare sector preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents.

We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team on Days at The Poets, our flagship nursing home in Worthing, West Sussex.

Hours of work: 27hrs per week or 48hrs per week.

As a Care Assistant You Will Be

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
• Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

More About You

• Ideally, you’ll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role;
