Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Home Carer to support clients in their own homes across Hereford and surrounding areas. You will assist with daily routines, personal care, meals, shopping, and provide companionship, helping to brighten a client’s day with kindness and patience.

No prior care experience is required; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest. A driving licence and weekend flexibility are needed.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; the right attitude and a caring nature can be taught.
• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends.
• Minimum 12 months remaining on right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines and personal care for clients.
• Assist with shopping, meals and companionship.
• Provide a listening ear and friendly conversation.
• Assist with medication as needed.

The Role of a Home Carer

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication
