Job summary

Agincare is seeking a compassionate Home Care Assistant to support adults in their own homes across the Newcastle area. You’ll help with daily routines, meals, personal care and companionship, making a real, positive difference in people’s lives.

No prior care experience is required—just a caring attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn. A full UK driving licence and flexibility to work weekends are advantageous as you join a friendly, supportive team.

The Role of a Home Carer

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication

About you

• Above all, were looking for someone kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others.
• You dont need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.
• Youll bring: A warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends
