Job summary

Agincare in Weymouth is seeking a Home Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes, helping with daily routines, meals, shopping and companionship. You’ll be trained on the job and join a caring team focused on dignity and independence for clients.

No previous care experience is required, and a kind, patient approach is valued as you learn essential skills and build rewarding relationships with clients and their families.

The Role Of a Home Carer

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication

About You

Above all, we’re looking for someone kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others. You don’t need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.

You’ll Bring

• A warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own car (Preferred).
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends
