Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Home Care Assistant in Paignton (Whitley Court) to help clients live independently at home. You will provide daily living support, companionship and help with personal care, meals and errands. Full training will be provided, and there are flexible contracts to fit around you.

Applicants should have a caring nature; a UK driving licence is preferred, and a 12-month right to work in the UK is required. Sponsorship is not available at this time.

• You don’t need care experience or qualifications; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily routines, including household tasks and personal care.
• Help with shopping, meal prep and making tea.

The Role of a Home Carer:

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication

About you:

Above all, we’re looking for someone kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others.You don’t need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.

You’ll bring:

• A warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence (Preferred)
