Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Home Carer to support clients in their own homes in Paignton. You will assist with daily routines, personal care, shopping, meals and companionship, helping to keep clients independent and connected.

No formal care experience is required; a caring attitude matters most. A UK driving licence is preferred, and sponsorship is not offered. Training and career development opportunities are provided by Agincare.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; the right attitude and caring nature can be taught.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• At least 12 months of remaining right to work in the UK; sponsorship not offered.

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily routines, including household tasks and personal care.
• Help with shopping, meal preparation, and making cups of tea.
• Provide companionship, a listening ear and friendly conversation.
• Assist with medication as needed.

The Role of a Home Carer:

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication

About you:

Above all, we’re looking for someone kind, compassionate , and genuinely passionate about helping others . You don’t need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.

You’ll bring:

• A warm , caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive , professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence (Preferred)
