Job summary

Dobson House in Rayleigh is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to provide high-quality personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes, supporting independence and dignity.

You'll mentor new team members, carry out spot checks to maintain standards, and build trusting relationships with clients and families. A minimum of 12 months care experience, empathy, and a full UK driving licence are required; NVQ level 2 is preferable.

About the role:

• Provide high-quality personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes.
• Support and mentor new members of the care team.
• Carry out occasional spot checks to help maintain care standards.

• Ideal for experienced Care Assistants looking to progress their career.

What you will bring:

• Good people skills and the ability to show strong empathy, with a caring and compassionate nature
• A minimum of 12 months' care experience, compassion, and a positive attitude - NVQ level 2 is preferable
• Full UK driving licence
• Availability to work 40 hours per week with flexible shifts between 7am – 10pm and alternating weekends
• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work – we currently cannot offer sponsorship
