Job summary

Ashmere Derbyshire Limited is seeking a Care Assistant to join our team in Derbyshire. You will work 35 hours per week across five shifts, with induction training and buddying support to help you settle in. No prior paid care experience is required, as full training is provided and DBS checks are funded by us.

We value compassionate, reliable individuals who want to deliver outstanding care to residents. NVQ Level 2 is desirable, and progression opportunities are available within our caring home

Care Assistant

Do you have experience in care or are you looking for that new challenge?

We are looking for local people who are passionate about providing an outstanding level of care and going the extra mile for our residents. And we currently have a vacancy working 35 hours per week over 5 shifts.

About the role

The ideal candidate must be flexible in workingshifts.

It might not be that you have any paid experience providing care to others however you may have looked after and given care to a friend or family member. It would be desirable if you have an NVQ2 or working towards it. If not, don’t worry, we can provide you with all the training that you need in our induction scheme and through our buddying scheme when you start in our home.

Working for an established care provider like Ashmere, you start your journey with us by attending our monthly new starter company induction at all new joiners from all of our homes. We will kit you out with uniform, pay for your DBS check, provide you with regular training and maybe even spoil you with cake from time to time!
