Job summary

Porthaven Care Homes in the United Kingdom is seeking a Care Assistant to make a real difference in residents’ lives through compassionate, person-centred care that supports physical, social, emotional wellbeing.

You’ll follow individual care plans, assist with daily living activities, promote dignity, and work as part of a friendly team. No sponsorship is available; DBS checks will be completed for the right candidate, and full training and development are provided.

Daily responsibilities in this role include:

• Respect each resident as an individual, tailoring care to their personal needs and preferences according to their care plan.
• Support residents with daily living activities including; washing, toileting, dressing and grooming.
• Promote choice, dignity, and independence through person-centred care.
• Support residents during mealtimes and ensure they have access to food and refreshments whenever they wish
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families through kindness, empathy, and compassion with residents.
