Job summary

Porthaven Care Homes in the United Kingdom is seeking a caring Care Assistant to help residents with daily living activities and to provide warm, compassionate support in a welcoming environment. You will follow care plans, respect residents' dignity and independence, and work as part of a friendly team with full training from our Learning & Development team.

A DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Daily responsibilities in this role include:

• Respect each resident as an individual, tailoring care to their personal needs and preferences according to their care plan.
• Support residents with daily living activities including; washing, toileting, dressing and grooming.
• Promote choice, dignity, and independence through person-centred care.
• Support residents during mealtimes and ensure they have access to food and refreshments whenever they wish
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families through kindness, empathy, and compassion with residents.
