Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group is seeking a compassionate in-home carer to support a client with spinal injury at home. You’ll assist with mobility, personal care, and social activities to help maintain independence and dignity.

The role requires empathy, reliability, and the ability to work independently, with weekend shifts available and ample opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience working in social care is preferred.
• Experience with adults with disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients who may have difficulties.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and social care in the client’s home.
• Help mobilise around the property and assist with activities of daily living.
• Support the client to engage in outdoor activities and social events.

Shifts Available: 1 x10 hour shift nights, 2x7 hour shift days Sat and Sun only

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with a spinal injury in their own home to help mobilise around the property, provide personal and social care, help support to enjoy outdoor activities and attend social events, they enjoy a variety of interests and the right person will provide care, empathy and companionship.

Qualifications

• -Experience working in Social Care Preferred.
• -Experience of working with adults with disabilities preferred.
• -Experience dealing with client who have communication difficulties or need additional support desired.
• -This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work indepedently.
