Job summary

Agincare Homes Holdings in Swindon is seeking a Night Senior Care Assistant for Edgehill care home. The role covers 30 hours per week from 8pm to 8am, including alternate weekends, providing person-centred care and supporting the team.

You will administer residents’ medication, contribute to care reviews and lead social activities, with opportunities for career progression and a benefits package including funded training up to QCF level 5 and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• 12 months right to work in the UK.
• NVQ Level 2 - Health and Social care.
• NVQ Level 3 - Health and Social Care or be working towards.
• Night Senior Care Assistant to work 30 hours per week from 8pm to 8am to include working alternative weekends.

Responsibilities

• Person-centred care - you will ensure residents receive personal care with preferences.

Responsibilities

• Person-centred care - You will ensure that residents receive personal care from you and your team including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences, and actively promote right to choice and independence
• Review - You will contribute to and carry out care reviews with your residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs.
• Medication - You will administer residents' medication in a safe and supportive and compliant way
• Social Activity - You will lead in and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
• Leadership - you may support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called up on to lead the home where more senior managers are not available.
