Job summary

McCarthy Stone Ltd in Swindon invites applications for a Care and Support Assistant to work on-site at Gilbert Place. This role involves supporting residents with daily tasks and encouraging independence in a single-location development.

Part-time 25 hours per week with enhanced pay for evenings and weekends. Full training funded to Level 2 or 3 in Adult Care, pension, life insurance, and wellbeing support are provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of UK health and social care experience.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus but not essential.
• Caring, dependable and passionate about helping older adults.
• Living within commuting distance of Swindon development.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily tasks such as appointments, light cleaning, laundry and shopping.
• Assist with social activities and wellbeing routines.
• Promote independence, dignity and community engagement.
• Support individual care packages.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting residents with daily domestic tasks like appointments, light cleaning, laundry and shopping
