Job summary

McCarthy & Stone Ltd on Crocus Court in Poulton Le Fylde is seeking a part-time Care & Support Assistant. You will support residents with daily tasks and activities, helping them stay independent in a central, on-site location.

The role offers a friendly on-site team, funded training opportunities, and the chance to make a real difference in residents' everyday lives. No travel is required, and shifts include evenings and weekends where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in UK health and social care preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care is a plus, but not essential.
• Caring, dependable and passionate about supporting older adults.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily domestic tasks (appointments, light cleaning, laundry, shopping).
• Assist with social activities and wellbeing routines.
• Promote independence, dignity and community engagement.
• Support with individual care packages.
