Job summary

McCarthy & Stone Ltd. is seeking a part-time Care Assistant at Cross Penny Court in Bury St Edmunds. You will support residents with daily tasks, assist with activities and wellbeing, and promote independence in a single on-site development.

Training is funded with Level 2/3 in Adult Care, plus a company pension and life insurance. The role emphasizes a caring, dependable approach and local commuting. Evening and weekend shifts offer enhanced pay.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year in a UK health and social care role preferred.
• Qualification: Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, but not essential.
• Personality: Caring, dependable and passionate about supporting older adults.
• Location: Living within commuting distance of the development.
