Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is seeking a Care Assistant for Wainwright Court in Kendal. This on-site role offers 22 hours per week with an hourly rate of £13.26, with enhanced pay for evenings and weekends. Sponsorship is not available, UK-based applicants only.

You will support residents in one central location, helping with daily tasks and wellbeing activities to promote independence and a sense of community. Training is provided and a strong, caring team onsite awaits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a UK health and social care role preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, but not essential.
• Caring, dependable and passionate about supporting older adults.
• Living within commuting distance of the development.
